Mac Tech Help? Empty
PostSubject: Mac Tech Help?   Mac Tech Help? EmptySat Mar 13, 2010 7:02 pm

Okie, guys. I need some help here.
My mom got a Mac Book Pro for Christmas, and we just got around to installing windows.... or rather, I got around to installing Windows Vista for her. Only problem is, I can't connect to our internet with it.

1) I set up 32 GB Partition on Bootcamp
2) Installed Windows Vista
3) Set her account up, and it brought me to the log-in screen.
4) Turned computer off cause I had to go somewhere.
5) Internet not working? D=

Can anyone help?

Do not install Windows Vista, it is the worst Window software ever, it's better to use XP. I used Vista for a year and when I switched to XP my computer ran so much better and all old problems were, for the most part gon.e

Well, I found the Mac OS X CD, popped it in, and installed the Boot Camp Drivers and such....
Except Now I can't connect to the internet. Sure the network is available, but I'm getting something like

"The Wireless authentication settings on this computer do not match the requirements of this network."

That was when I attempted to connect to it, let alone get the Network Password and such...

One thing that Mac does have over PC is better graphics. Other then that, PC is much better. The two companies should collabarate some awesome product in my opinion though.

Agreed.

At all you others. My mom wants Windows just in case.
And I want Windows for Borderlands. >_>

Cause my PC is a piece of ****. She's got an Nvidia 9600, so I'mma gonna use it... cause her lack of gaming obviously won't.
