Crappy Laptop!

My laptop sucks!
First of all, my battery is failing randomly (i have found the problem now)! and Second the Casing of it is falling apart! I am very careful so thats what I am annoyed it. So dont buy a COMPAQ LAPTOP it is good for the use of a computer if you arent going to ever close it or move it. But the qauility of the plastic casing sucks!

Um....Yeah Compaqs do suck. I would never spend a dollar on one.
I recommend you buying a brand new computer.

But of course, he may not be able to afford it, after just getting one.

I certainly hope you got insurance on it though.

If you just got it less then a year ago it should still be under warranty.

Save your money for a new one or get your siblings (if you have some) to split the share.

As you, I have had some really bad experiences with Compaq, my suggestion, if its still in warranty, is to make it effective, get the new one and sell it, then use the money to buy a new comp of a more reliable brand, right now, Im very satisfied with my Toshiba Satellite L500

Me too I have that same computer. I give it a big thumbs up.

I don't have the same model, but my Toshiba is pretty ace
Toshiba, in my opinion, make some reliable computers, so go with them

Yeah my toshiba is pretty good, I hope you get a new one that is better

Yeah its under warranty so as soon as a I get back from vacation I am taking it back, unless I want to have $400 dollar paper weight. Now i know why it was a lot cheaper then the Toshiba's. Those are good quality computers i have noticed, My Parent's friends has had a Toshiba laptop for 10 years and he is the computer wis who can just upgrade to the next big thing and it works alot better then my does now. I really hate this computer!

If i was you I would just build my own computer like i do but you may not be able to afford doing that.

Get a Dell Small Business machine!

You can pack a ton of stuff on them. They're built tough. I own a Dell Vostro 1500. 4 GB of RAM, GeForce 8600 GT. Its a MONSTER.

Check your internet settings and reset the connection... usually works for me

And if that doesn't work just reset the router.

for like a week my computer would shut down my router so i had to go over and turn it back on it was so annoying

I got back from vaction and I think it got worse over time, I am scared to close it the casing is so bad! So tommorow I am packing it up and going to best buy to see what the warrant will let me do.
