I'll try to post some common used words in competitive battling for you...
EQ - The 100 power, ground move, Earthquake
STAB - Same Type Attack Bonus (Its an acronym) which means if your pokemon's type matches the move that it uses that move will become 1.5* more powerful. So, if a Bellossom used energy ball, a 80 power move, it would be a 80 * 1.5 = 120 power move after STAB. If a pokemon like octillery used energy ball, since his typing is not grass, it would just be an 80 power move.
Luke - The pokemon Lucario
Specs Mence - A salamence with the item choice specs equipped... usually attacks with Draco Meteor, Hydro Pump, Flamethrower/Fire Blast and Dragon Pulse
EV - Stands for Effort Value (yet another acronym lol). You may want to google EV training because that would take a while for me to explain, but it basically is a way to help your pokemon choose which stats it wants to raise.
Nature - On your pokemon summaries, there should be a thing that says something like "Quirky nature" or "Adamant Nature" on the second page. This basically determines your pokemon's stats as well. Each nature either adds 10% to one stat and decreases another stat by 10% or has no effect at all on your pokemon's stats. Here is a link to look at the natures and the effects

IV - Stands for Individual Value (haha another Acronym)... Every pokemon has a number, 0-31 assigned to each stat that you cannot see but you can check by using an IV calculator. Basically, all of the stats of a pokemon (HP, Attack etc...) get a bonus increase depeding on the number assigned. So if your gengar has a 31 Speed IV, it will have 11 more speed than a 20 Speed IV gengar (assuming the same nature and EVs)
Tell me if you need anything more defined, I kinda just wrote whatever came to my head you may not understand
