| Umm... Go with Cyndaquil or Totodile... They more easily win the 1st gym than Chikorita (as I learned from experience haha) | |

| yeah unless you love chikorita or don't mind only being able to use him affectedly against 2 gyms, then go with totdile or cyndaquil | |

| Chicorita and Tododile are my favorite especially since you have heart gold I'd go with Chicorita. No need for Cyndaquil because you get Arcanine for your fire and there are already plenty of good water types in Johto. And Chicorita is the best grass in Johto. | |

learned that by using jumpluff True there is Jumpluff. But I don't really like Flying types in-game if they're unable to learn fly. | |

| Hmm...I think I might go with Chikorita. I love Arcanine and like Beast said there are plenty of water types. It only makes sense to get Chikorita. Thanks. | |
