PostSubject: Drumline Time   Tue May 25, 2010 8:57 pm

Just got back from drumline tryouts. Even though I'm going to be a fresh-man next year, I got the 2nd highest score out of 11 (1st was a Junior and I was close to beating him).

As for my assigned drum, I was put on tenors. Why, I have no clue. Suspect Top scores usually get snare and on top of that they asked everyone what they would want to play the most. Of coarse I said snare after playing it for 3 years, but I was put on tenors. I know nothing on this drum. No

lol the Tenors are the most fun besides Snare. Dude trust me you will love them. Tenors are one of the best sounding ones to. Everyone loves snare for some reason but you can pretty much love any drum cause they all sound great

Tenors are pretty cool, but snare completes me. clown I'm thinking of just challenging for a spot on snare later on in the summer during summer band practices.

I'd take tenor over snare but good job on it. Hopefully you get snare come fall

well most bands can't have the drummers playing the same drum cuz it messes up the field show. If this drumline is like mine, then most everyone can play alll the drums but play one for the marching year
