Im personally really against Psychology AS A SCIENCE, Science(s?) have to be exact, precise, cold, in a science you are either right or wrong, theres no "gray". Psychology relies on the human factor too much, sure, you can analize people as a mass, as the collective mind usually takes over the individual personalities, but what about a single person? A psychologists analyzes the person, his action and word to make a general scheme of the person, but what if a person is smart enough to fool you?. In a real science, thats impossible, facts are facts, water will always boild at 100 C at the level of the sea, 2 hydrogens and 1 oxygen will always form water, living beings are born, grow, reproduce and die, a Science will ALWAYS follow laws, Psychology doesnt follow laws, in Psychology same situations dont give same results, in real sciences, equal situations=equal results.
Then again, my opinion might be hugely biased considering I spent 5 years going to psychologists and ended up dreading the both, as person and as professionists
