A few of them aren't even in the top 10 most subscribed or viewed!

I known about this subject for a while, most of the youtube celebrities aren't even interesting, youtube(or google) likes to promote them because they're sellouts who make them money, and the screw us over-the people who really use creativity-the users.

I don't think it's fair to call people like nigahiga and theyoungturks sellouts. They do what they do because they enjoy it, people watch, and people pay them. What would you have them do?

Funny how they didn't mention Mystery Guitar Man.

This is a stuck-up womens rant that she didn't jump into the niche market when there was space in it. And goes onto producing less than good journalism... This is 100% pure bullshit article. Annoying orange and Fred are the ones i agree with. But hell someone has to make the videos like RWJ and Sxephil. I sure wouldnt want her, if her video making was as good as her writing skills.

I wouldn't say all youtube stars are sellouts, but Sxephil and shane dawson are just douchebags who trick people to click on their videos with a fake thumbnail, seriously phillip defranco has no talent whatsoever, all he does is spastic jump cuts with a pointless vlog, I've been on youtube since its conception and I can tell you this article does go over one the worst issues since google took it over.

I'm not sure how you can really support these partners, youtube controls the flow of traffic away from regular users to them, and if you got money you'll be given the advantage and youtube will props you up, so they the SAME thing as a mainstream media.
