The camera was more dynamic and the move selection, and the sounds, and the effects, and the environment was so much better. D:/

My thinking is that they probably had problems programming the game, or the Wii couldn't process it. The Wii might have even had too little memory to make a game like that (Especially because there weren't too many Pokemon in that trailer and to make a game like that with 493 different Pokemon would be extremely difficult). And let's face it, the Wii can't display graphics as good as that. (For the most part)

there are some things that are really really flawed in that post

there are some things that are really really flawed in that post

but look at brawl bounce

While yes, Brawl had superb graphics, there weren't 493 characters in that game. But yes, you are right to some degree. For one the Wii probably has enough memory to make a game like that, and the Wii could probably process better graphics then I was implying it could, but with all of the camera angles, and detail that the developers put into that trailer if they added all of the voice-overs, and more Pokemon the Wii might not be able to handle it.

Then again graphics don't mean anything as long as game-play is good, take Pikmin for example.

So what if there arent 493 characters? The game would just load them in a data bank stored from somewhere, it will load a pokemon once its called out.
Really 16 bit sounds dont take much memory, and voice overs arent really that consuming.
Brawl has over like 100 4 minute long songs, and will all that fighting **** going on thats like what 5 sounds going on at once? What about the car stage? Alot of cars, move on and out and the items being thrown around, and the sea and the road, and everything is going on and it can still handle it.

Moving the camera around doesnt really take that much out of the wii.

And pikmin is boring bounce All you do is sprout plant things and walk around.
