You know how it takes the first syllable of the first Pokémon and the last syllable of the second Pokémon to give it a name? Well, if you put Golbat first and then Golduck second you would get Golduck, and if you arranged them vice versa you would get Golbat =P

Well you could always try it. Splicing by real defintion should not involving blowing (enalrging) pieces, regarding. And he is not being creative at all, just putting face onto face.
