I thought I had a big list of challengers.... Daiko is the only one to challenge me so far

lol well if it helps Daiko was 5 of my battles... i had some scheduled but challengers dont seem to check their pms as much as i do

Hey yo daiko, just got my action replay for the dsi (needed new one cause i dont have a regular ds anymore and the normal action replay doesnt work on the dsi) so now i can use pokesav again legitly of course...

Umm, Daiko, not to be rude or anything, but arent Nagi`s rules WAY too harsh? I mean, banning EQ, one of the most competitive moves in the game, banning fake out, banning substitute, banning 3 pokes and Latias with 3 items(technically 2, considering no-one uses Soul Dew on Latias) and forcing double battle, all while we are allowed just 1 change per round? I dont have anything against personalized clauses, but thats taking it way too far

I agree those are some very one sided rules, and when I signed up for this thing, it's not something i expected to be winning tons of battles as me stacking my team with 4 water types at least is just asking for a jolteon with HP grass to come in and own... no, it is to have fun battling other players and not make it incredibly difficult to get a badge... however, those are his rules and if he wants to be a tad unfair, then just let him

And Daiko... maybe sometime tomorrow we'll have our match?

Im agreeing with pretty much everything Shnoogle just said. and i know i complain about this alot but bugs are made of glass, and my matches are short because of this. does nagi have the right to make any rule he wants? yeah and she deserves that right, but nagi you may be surprised of the challengers teams. take into example Daiko who came at me like 3 times without a single fire type, let alone a fire move O.o and when he did add fire support it really didnt matter. but still your gym your rules. have it your way! lol

this is kind of a side question but leaders do you guys have like different teams? cause i have like 3 teams because i like using so many different pokemon

haha i am making mine right now! i now all the pokemon i need... i just need to use pokesav to get them... that will take me like 40 minutes if i know what i'm doing lol

And don't worry, they are all legal. whoever wants to can check their "legalness" after battle if i beat you too bad ha

I'll prob make several water teams... maybe a rain dance team, a baton pass team etc... actually not a baton pass team cause i hate those but whatever

EDIT: saxman - you know that you can use two wildcards, right? perhaps the old forretress/ scizor fire type weakness will benefit you if you have something like a flash fire rapidash on your team... also, having something that is weak to a common resistance on your team (ground for example) will be a great thing to try out.

hey shnoogle i know your raring for a battle so do you want to battle when your done making your team? ill just be using my bug team. wait do you use shoddy or ds?

I also think Nagi's rules aren't fair to all of his opponents, but I am not chalenging him so it's not my problem. I hope to eventually make another back up team or some more pokemon that I can switch out for.

To everyone who has mentioned Nagi's rules (There was too many to quote =P)

I have argued each and every case you have brought up and got a fair response in return.

1. Fake Out - I don't really see the point in this due to Steel resisting it
2. Substitute - That is another personal hate of his..
3. Earthquake - Only 2 or 3 Steel Types resist this and Nagi refuses to use his two wildcards
4. Eruption/Lava Plume.. You should understand this one due to only Heatran resisting the Fire type moves..
5. Latias - Those two items coupled with Surf destroy any of Nagi's Pokemon..
6. Doubles - Nagi "cannot play in singles".. I hate that he uses doubles aswell.. (Even though I beat him =D)

These arguements are from Nagi himself (Except for the Fake Out one.. His arguement was "It is the cheapest move in the game.. ) My problem is the same as yours.. I struggled like heck to beat him due to the fact I couldn't use at least 1 move on half my Pokemon... (I carry Earthquake and Heat Wave)

Nagi if you read this.. Remember you have two wildcards.. Use them instead of evening the odds out in your case..

Then use your wildcards, they are there for a reasin

Then how bout you slap a shuca berry on a couple of your pokemon and take that time to grab an agility with metagross and sweep or something? There are also pokemon who can easily take advantage of choice locked EQs and im sure you have a heatran on your team for heat waves and whatnot... Latias compliments steel types wonderfully (latias is immune to eq and resists fire moves and steels take dragon, dark, bug, ghost, and ice moves)

I only have 1 Shuca Berry. I have like 6 berrires overall in my bag.

Latias? I got something else in mind...
