Deviant Art probably has the best source for quality brushes, just add a gimp prefix, and what type of brush.

but yeah, http://free-brushes.com/gimp/ is the best probably

Photoshoproadmap.com can, its PS brushs work with gimp. And brush king and brush eezy.
