| EVs: 252 speed/ 252 attack/ 4 HP
Item: Focus sash
Moveset: X-scizzor Sucker punch Swords dance Explosion
The idea behind this is to find a switch in after one of my pokes dies and SD up. Sucker punch is there if I know I'm going to be outsped or if I know I'm going to be attacked. X-scizzor is there as a basic attacking move. If I know I'm going to die, I know a SD explosion will annilate glass cannons, possibly kill others, and do a decent ammount of damage to Walls.

| X-scissor is probably a bad choice for him. I believe he gets seed bomb and even though the coverage isnt amazing, for a general sweeper he can do well against water types and others since grass is a decent defensive type.
you need a nature before i can suggest anything else

| I ALWAYS forget the nature. XD. It's jolly for the extra speed. | |

| hmm with a jolly sucker punch seems a bit redundant but i dont quite remember his speed in the first place... tough call until smogon is back up for me but i stick to the idea of seed bomb being better than xscissor | |

| Interesting set, but I don't think X-Scissor will do much good for you seeing as its un-STABed and doesn't have particularly amazing coverage. The SD Shiftry set I personally run looks something like this: Shiftry@Focus Sash / Life Orb4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Jolly Chlorophyll -Swords Dance -Sucker Punch -Seed Bomb-Brick Break / Low KickThis set provides you with great coverage (resisted only by Heracross + Toxicroak). If you're confident enough you can set up Shiftry without a Sash, the power boost from LO is welcome. Seed Bomb provides you with a secondary, reliable STAB attack in case you're nervous about using Sucker Punch. Brick Break / Low Kick is mainly used for hitting Steels. Each has its uses. Brick Break is the safer option as a solid Fighting-type attack. Most Steel-types are heavy (Steelix, for example), so they won't enjoy the extra power from Low Kick. If you do want to incorporate Explosion, I suggest dropping Seed Bomb because Dark + Fighting is the main coverage of the set. ~~ Hope is helps. | |

Then don't dual STAB or use X-Scissor as you are walled by Steels no problem. Brick Break for UU and below and Low Kick for OU.

Still walled by Steels terribly. Just use: - Swords Dance - Sucker Punch/Seed Bomb - Low Kick/Brick Break - Explosion Dark + Fighting = best coverage you can get (don't bring up Ghost/Fighting).

| Even with an SD he will barely be able to touch defensive steels. But if you do have a steel problem go with the Brick Break+Sucker Punch combo (but ghost+fighting is still better couldnt resist) | |

What exactly does Meganium threaten you with? The most common offensive moves for Meganium are Seed Bomb, Energy Ball, and Earthquake, which Shiftry walls. It is more commonly used for Screens and Aromatherapy, and with Brick Break you shatter Screens. You won't be able to hit it very hard but it can't do anything back which will alow you to set up on it.
