He actually would look quite good with a very black hair colour, I would maybe go try go for a black haircolour with a slight hue of another colour, most common is Blue, in most circumstances it will be pitch black but often in the right light itll go blue

I would say blonde, I think it'd look good on you. :]
Maybe with a little bit of brown, my friend had brown hair but he swims and chlorine made some of his hair blonde and it looks really cool. :]
