| OK so I already imported the Powerpoint into iMovie, and want to do a commentary on the Powerpoint so I can upload it to Youtube. I am using the built in Microphone to do this, but I need to know how to pause the slide of the powerpoint while I am talking, because right now the movie is only about 13 seconds and I need to talk for a lot more than that.
TL;DR How do I pause the individual slides of a Powerpoint while while still being able to talk in the microphone in iMove?
I don't know what all you need to know exactly in regards to the technical stuff about my mac, but the Version is 10.6.3 and obviously it's a Mac OS X
The version of iMovie is 8.0.6 and it's iMovie '09

| If I remember correctly
you can extend each power point slide to a certain point on the time frame
since you have a mac and I do too, we could possibly screenshare if thats ok with you | |

| Just curious, but you do know Camtasia 6 an 7 both have the option to record pp presentations, right? | |
