| Hey guys so I don't know if anyone noticed but it seems to me that Machamp leads are steadily disappearing. I know, I know, before you go and say, "OMG I SEE HIM EVERY OTHER GAME!!!!" You still do see the Machamp Anti-lead but I'm pretty sure it was a fad. It was in for quite a while and is still viable but Azelf lead is so good as well.
Tell me, what do you think about the metas top leads and Machamp being a lead, fad/or sticking around?

| I think that with people realizing that leads like Roserade, Colbur Azelf among others are great for setting up hazards as well as dealing with many other leads, this has left Machamp a little in the dust. It is still a great lead, and many, many teams have problems with it because of the 100% confusion inducing move called Dynamic Punch. | |

Agreed but it seems like he was just played to death. Everyone used him. However a flaw with Anti-lead machamp that steers some people away from it is that it won't set up SRs for you. Which I believe many people have problems with. Personally I like to have a SR lead. Another problem is that all the leads he countered aren't the leads that are used anymore really. Colbur Zelf>Lead Machamp.

| Well people still use Scizor the most, and he has been played to death and back. I think it's just that an anti-lead only makes things equal, it rarely gives an advantage. All machamp did was be annoying and take out the opposing lead. It didn't really help you | |

I have been battling competitively for the past 3 years or so and I have never, ever, seen a Scizor lead. Ever. And you saying that Machamp just took out the other lead is a complete understatement. I don't know who you have been battling, but seriously dude what you just posted is not even close to true. Yeah, I prefer having a lead to set up SR myself. If I don't, getting up SR is kind of luck based later because you need a certain Pokémon to switch in that your Stealth Rocking Pokémon can counter so you can set it up.

Lol I've never seen a Scizor lead. Agreed Shnoogle I like to get SR up and out of the way early so I don't have to worry about it later. Teminus you really hate scizor lol.

| Ok in my 8 months of competive battling, I've seen noobs and pros. But nether of them uses a Scizor lead. Matchamp is a very effective Anti-lead and Takes out many leads. I'm a person that enjoys using Anti-leads but it's just my personality. But it seems like you really hate Scizor when it really isn't that hard to take out. | |
