This pokemon surely is as bad as Ditto when it comes to breeding. I was surprised to see it in the same group with pokemon such as Wailord, Donphan, and Mamoswine o.0. This pokemon comes to us from the 3rd Generation with some of the worst stats known to the its type. Uuttitan Forums Pokemon of the Week brings you: Delcatty!
Delcatty, again, has some of the suckiest stats I've seen, but then again, alot of pokemon have some bad stats, and are still very usable.
Trick Special Delcatty! [Cute Charm] Quite Nature (I think this one is it) EVs: 252 Hp, 252 Spat, 6 Def @Focus Sash -Calm Mind -Ice Beam -Thunder Bolt -Grass Knot
Calm Mind: The strong point behind this set, Delcatty has no really spat to speak of, so you need to help it out. The stronger it gets, the better off you will be!
Ice Beam & Thunderbolt: The amazing Bolt-Beam combo. Its pretty useful, and since you DONT have Normalize, you will be able to cover many different types of pokemon at once.
Grass Knot: For Swampert and other ground types that may get in your way, that also are part Water >.>''. Its a great move to use on heavy pokemon.
~Cute Contest Set~ NOTE: There could be another attack set coming soon, for now, here is some help for the Cute contest.
Max Cuteness Any Speed boosting nature. @Pink Scarf -Fake Out -Facade -Rest -Snore
Fake Out: A good move for contest, when you get to the acting part, if your good at the showcase and dancing, you will be first. This will give you a starting +4 points on your first move.
Facade: Fake out will most likely make you score High, this way, when your at the end, you can still get the need +4 scoring.
Rest: If you know that the voltage will be max on YOUR turn, use rest. Rest will get +4 becuase of the voltage the judge has, and you will also get the added voltage.
Snore: If you need a good move, this move gives +3, and is available through platinum tutors.

Nice video once again. You should do the contest moveset also in your Pokemon of the Week from now on

Nice pokemon of the week once again kanrik! You should change delcatty's nature to modest though, quiet lowers speed Also, could you post a moveset with that has to do with delcatty's ability, normalize?
That Delcatty was designed to be used in a Trick Room (or atleast attempted) It even says that -.-
Delcatty: Impish (248/0/44/4/0/212) Fake Out Thunder Wave Helping Hand Protect @Chuka Berry
Those 4 in speed was a mistake, meant to be HP. But I don't think it matters anyway. Currently it holds Silk Scarf as I actually have yet to find a Chuka Berry, but it will hold one soon. The only other pokemon that can learn all four of those moves is Mr.Mime. He would probably do a better job, but he isn't that cute.. now is he?
EDIT: That was with psych up, that I originally intended instead of protect. Lopunny, Raichu and Mew can also learn that moveset I found out.

Understandable, but think about it. Theres two moves it could be..Trick or Trick Room and Delcatty doesn't have Trick...so yea

If you set up Delcatty correctly, you could use Normalize and sweep everyone, since you don't have to worry about Water Absorb, Volt Absorb, and Electivires (Just drew a blank on their ability). The only big thing is getting the Baton Pass/ Psych Up up, and making sure to have a Foresight on any Ghosts that come your way.
I may try and experiment with Delcatty.
