| Ambipom 252 Hp 128 Spd 128 Def Impish Technician Agility Baton Pass SD/Double Hit/Pursuit Sub/Protect
So my ambipom for baton passing most of the time he passes to an absol so keep that in mind. SD just to maybe open up a move slot on absol he needs an attack to not be walled by taunt pursuit to not be walled by ghosts but with technician double hit is powerful
please comment | |

| well for starters the ev spread is bad u need max speed for sure, ambpiom is too fragile to use hp and evs in defenses then put the rest of the evs in atk and maybe some in hp use subsitute for the last move, as you'll be faster than most enemies plus u can b-pass it off, and use double hit for the second and u should be good no point in pursuit as u can just b-pass on ghosts instead, and double hit will do much more damage in general and btw, make it jolly nature | |

| Max HP and speed is best for the baton passer, allowing him to take weaker hits. Taunt would probably be better in the 3rd slot if you choose not to run SD in order to stop your boosts from being phazed away. | |

| Also if you are down to one poke (him) and the opponent could easily be one shot, (I made a Ninjask like that once, no attack, i lost quite a few battles that a simple aerial ace would have clinched the victory. XD) | |

| Erm, Ambipom cannot learn Swords Dance. So cross that off.
And as mentioned, a Baton Passers spread should be 252 HP / 4 Def (or SpD, doesn't matter much) / 252 Spe, Jolly. If you're not fast enough, you'll be killed off before you can Baton Pass.

please comment Honestly I don't see this working, you have no attacking move. You need something maybe substitute Swords Dance with a Stab move so you're not set-up fodder. You kind of forgot to add the item you'll be using lol. No, but I think substitute is a must if you want to get off some agilities, keep baton pass..obviously, and maybe return...Unless you have something backing this ambipom up ie: Dual Screens. Then you can go pure baton pass. (Your original build) EDIT: Yeah I believe Ambipom doesn't learn SD so...you should thank RandomBoy for pointing that one out. You can always use Nasty Plot

| ambipom doesnt learn swords dance ... but he is one of the very few pokemon that can batton pass nasty plot you should make some use out of that. And if you go for nasty plot you should chose swift as your attacking move i also suggest giving it T-wave somewhere cause... well... paralizis is always usefull! | |

t-wave would be a bad idea. After u t-wave an enemy, they will get a chance to hit u, and maybe ko u.
