| If you've ever done a solo run for a game, which game was it and what Pokemon did u use? I've never tried one myself, though. | |

| Choose your favourite! I like Lucario, but already have one that I really like, so I used a Riolu for a Diamond run instead, and I still use it in-game for heartgold. It was a hacked Riolu (sorry) but it was the only way I could use it with it still obeying me. The only thing I hacked though was the ability to let me catch it on route 201. Nothing else.
Main thing is to make sure you can cover your weaknesses. Riolu's final moveset was:
Shadow Claw (did not breed for crunch) Swords Dance (for those tougher opponents) Rock Slide (Replaced by Ice punch in Plat.) Brick Break
This covers his weaknesses of Psychic and Flying.
