Better then Shoddy? I think so...

Pokemon Online has been out for awhile now. And I think it's definitely better then Shoddy. It has a much nicer layout and looks more like it's on the actual DS. You can download it for free here. http://www.pokemon-online.eu/

But generally shoddy is better for testing on because it has a wider variety of good players.

I disagree. And I actually think there are "Better" players on Pokemon Online. I think your battles are set up by your ranks. So since you probably had a low rank you were going up against easy people.

Hm.....Well, I might as well get it when I comeback from my week trip...

Well I downloaded it. And I found flamers when I batted someone. I think I'll go back to Shoddy but I might use that for Doubles.

Theres a rule of gold with release dates of freeware: to the release date, add a year, so probably by the enf of this year

Pokemon Online is much better than Shoddy in my opinion. There are plenty of people to battle, there are double battles, there's a lot of tournaments, and it looks better than Shoddy as well.

The amount of tournaments that are hosted there is just incredible. And I hardly get flamed.

problems with pokemon Online:
1) Doesn't have every move
2) Stupidly Haxy
3) Unreliable connection.

I think I'll wait for shoddy 2 to come out for double battles.

Only agree with number 2, but to be honest. Shoddy is just as bad with hax as Pokemon Online.

i don't see any reason to switch to this other than doubles. Plus, all of my freind and teams are on shoddy and i don't want to have to go thru the trouble of making them again. I dont even care about the presenatation so...yeah.Not intrested.

I thought someone said on smogon that they were waiting on 5th gen to realease it?

All you have to do is put your team to text. And then import it into the PO team builder and save it.
And it's a nicer layout. That's a reason to update to it.

Creating a team is MUCH easier and quicker with Pokemon Online than Shoddy.
