| pidgey has always been normal/flying. S/G/C originated the steel and dark types, making magnemite electric/steel. you may be thinking about that | |

| I looked through all of the new pokemon. I haven't really been following Black and White too much. They are actually pretty cool. Except for the final evolution of the otter/beaver/piplup-rip-off thing. It looked like a digimon...... I don't like digimon. | |

| a lot of the pokes are just repeats (ie. there's a new poke like persian and ambipom, and obviously the starting bird and the rattata of gen 5) Also theres extremely retarded pokes (IE. GEAR) I mean really, what a stupid poke, i dont even have to explain that. Also there's pokes that look exactly the same just a different color (2 cases of this, 1 of which are the monkeys) BUT FINALLY AFTER 4 GENS THERE'S FINALLY A PURE FLYING TYPE TOOK A WHILE | |

| Overall, I really like the new Pokémon =D
From the start I knew that I was going to train the crocodile, the one-eyed, adorable bat, the water starter (though I am questioning that now... but come on they all suck D=), and the dragon with the blade in its mouth.
I can't believe they made another Fire/Fighting Pokémon as a starter... Seriously, it has basically the same stats as Blaziken, looks awful, and has less offense with more HP. It's speed is horrendous for a Sub-Punch set, too, which it could have been good at with a huge HP stat and STAB FP off of 123 base attack.
The grass snake is highly dissapointing... It is just an inferior Sceptile, really, and the 5 extra bade HP and 95 base defenses don't mean anything, really, because it has so many weaknesses and awful offense.
The water starter is probably still my favorite, but if that attack was swapped with speed, it could be OU for sure. Base 100 speed with 108 SpA and pretty good bulk? Yes please... Oh well, it looks like they failed with the starters =[

| The moves of the new pokemon are starting to show upp in Serebii's Pokedex. The water starter has some nice moves: Megahorn, SD, Encore and Aqua Jet. | |

| it's actually kinda weird how like every flying poke you find in the beginning of the games can't take full damage from fighting moves. | |

Lol read my post more closely... I said if his speed and special attack were swapped then he would be OU (most likely).

I true that. Plus, it can pull off a Nitro Boost set, since Nitro Boost is a Fire-type new Speed+ move. It has decent bulk to survive a hit, boost, and sweep of its 123 Base Attack. More useful than Blaziken, if you ask me.

Well, now that Blaziken has Speed Boost, he seems like a much more useful choice than before(then again, I`ve always hated how Infernape outclassed him, so Im probably quite biased)
