The New Chapter of Uuttitan - The Move

If its "too basic", come up with a better idea, because honestly we can't go anywhere near a name that is close to IGN, because they will say something, and I'm not making a name thats aimed at one system or one company.

I've asked for ideas, ironically, and I haven't seen any from you Momo -.-

Hmm...Well maybe we should come up with a catchy name that doesn't involve gaming.

Like Serebii or Smogon?

Serebii = Celebi, Smogon = Smog (Hence the Koffing)

It would then be posed on either Dan's choice or pokemon, or my preference (which happen to be vastly different.)

Yeah, but what I'm saying is don't make it obvious that it's a gaming community. Not many people would accosiate the above with what you said without thinking for a minute or so.

You go to Serebii and their splash page has a Celebi on it. Smogon's icon is Koffing, the smog pokemon.
Anyone who has played the games at all would probably catch that in no time.

The main issue is that the new forums aren't going to be 100% Pokemon, because there are plenty of pokemon sites as it is.

Not everyone has played the game for a while, it won't be a forum just for elite pokemon battlers. The forum can also encourage newcomers to join, but you've made it obvious you don't like the idea so nvm.

The point was to go Unique, but that doesn't seem to be easy.
"Uuttitan" was kinda unique because it was a combination of names, let alone a "popular" name.
When people were saying the Poke[Insert varient here], it would work, but there are to many of those floating around the internet (PokeBeach, Project Pokemon, etc.), plus that wouldn't be aimed at the point of making it more of a gaming forum and not focused on one thing, which seems to be what people want.

How about we chose five names that people think are popular, then do a poll to see which one is the most popular. At the end of the month whichever one is best, we will use.

Humm, Well I can't really suggest any other names since the only other game I play is Baldurs Gate II (it's good don't diss it)

Why not call it something catchy like

AlphaBravoCharlie

Since you are clearly having trouble to find a name with "gaming" or "pokemon" in it, the solution is the avoid those two words.

Not necessarily, as it doesn't give a very big influence to pokemon unlike "Poke Community" or something like that.

Shining Sun or Oblivia (I don't know what this is )

I'd go for Rising Sun, thats probably the only idea so far that has absolutely nothing with pokemon (minus that it seems like a reference to Morning Sun.)

Although that seems to dull, mostly because I have a fear that its not highly catchy (Like someone mentioned, Serebii and Smogon, although those are 100% pokemon related).
