Where the Forest meets Darkness ~A ninja/pokemon story~

Gold lay in his bed, awake at 3:00 AM. His sister would be coming home any time. There was no way to leave the house without waking anyone up. He sat up and looked at his backpack and katana. He got out of bed and slowly walked to his desk. Gold noticed one of the zippers was unzipped. He kept his pokemon there. He grabbed his 3 pokemon. Quilava, Pidgeotto, and Lombre. He put them back in the backpack, put it on his back, grabbed his katana, then jumped out his window. He fell down 2 stories and landed in a bush. "...Ow..." He whimpered. He saw a Spinarak and jumped. He looked at his poketch. 3:30 AM. He ran to Veridian Forest at high speeds. He tripped on a rock and fell to the ground. "I'm having the worst of luck today..." Gold said. Gold heard a door open. He looked around, only too see his rival, Silver. "So... you heading to Veridian too?" Silver questioned. "Why would I tell you? If I did, you'd stalk me." Gold remarked. He sent out his Pidgeotto. "Jo, use Gust!" Gold yelled. Silver was blow into a bush. Silver laughed. Gold was confused, but decided he had to hurry on. He took one step, then was pelted by a rock. He looked behind himself. Silver's Grandma pelted Gold for yelling at 4 in the morning. Gold rubbed his head, then ran into the forest.

Chapter 2~


Gold dashed into the forest. He stopped right before a patch of grass. "Repels." He whispered. A bug catcher walked up to him. "You need repels? I've been selling these for a while, so I'm almost sold out. 500¥ for one can. I've got ten cans left. Do we have a deal?" He asked. Gold agreed for one can. He sprayed the repel and trudged on. He kept walking, but half way through the forest, the repels effect wore off. Even after, the pokemon were still shaking in fear. Gold went another 1/4 into the forest. The path was cut off and led into an erie abyss. Gold went out, caught a Poochyena, taught it odor sleuth, then came back. "Go, Yena!! Use odor sleuth!" Gold yelled. "Grr.... raowf!" Yena barked. "Hmmm... poketch... pokemon translation... poochyena..." Gold messed around with his poketch until he found out the rend was made by a Darkrai. "Well, it's almost noon.... Yena! Come back!" Gold looked at his pokeball. "You could be useful later. All pokemon! Out! We're heading home for the day. Okay, come back!"
