Which of you guys play NU matches? I kind of want to get into it myself, and I was wondering what you all think about it to see if it is worth getting into.

And if you play, say OU with 2 NUs in your team, that doesn't really count because I would like to know how the NU metagame works.

i play NU occasionally on the CAP server on shoddybattle. Thats the best place to find NU battles.
Basically, the metagame right now is that medicham is the glass cannon, linoone is the deadly 1 turn set up sweeper, gardevoir is the best SPA, Regiice is the special wall, Miltank is the cleric, and persian is the lead. Thats basically the bog standard right now.

Lol tbh I expected medicham to be up there, same with miltank... But gardevoir? I thought espeon would be a little more popular lol. It's faster, abeit not as bulky, but hits incredibely hard.

I would think that pokemon like magmortar, Articuno, and quagsire/gastrodon are popular, as they preform well even in UU.

Yeah, i havent seen it yet but then i havent played too many games so i cant be much of a judge. Gardevoir is popular because of trace and having moves like thunderbolt and calm mind, plus screens.

...I love NU. It takes a lot of thought when it comes to certain Pokemon you use. Although, like you two said, there are a lot of NU standard Pokemon. I tend to go more to the least used NUs. It's something I really enjoy.
