See ya there I'll be going to! I'll tell you what I'll be wearing so we can find eachother. Do you think I'd get in trouble for using a Pokesav Pokemon? If I make it completely legit? Also what up with Mewtwo and Wobufette not being banned? Kind of awkward.

| Let's drive this topic away from "Will Pokesaved Pokemon Work?". Long story short, no. Nintendo has this unknown machine that you put your game cart in to detect every detail down to the hex of the pokemon to detect ar/sav traces, and if they find them they DQ you. Now please end that discussion here. | |

As much as Id love to agree with this....PP guys have discovered ALL but 1 of the Hex values for HG/SS, so basically, the smartest pokesavers around WILL be able to make undectable Hacks. (Not like it matters, as Im part of the countless people whose country is not included)

I still wouldn't risk it Beast. I recall to last year, this kid made it to the top 16, got disqualified for having his Pokémon Sav'd. Turns out none of his Pokémon had illegal stats or 31x6 (or even 31x3 for that matter), it's just the way the detectors read your game. Although, I shouldn't stop a kid from thinking he can get away with Pokésav, so go on right ahead if you wish.

I decided I'm going to go with an a team that looks in-game...but there EV trained and whoop up on everyone. I'm not going to worry about IV breeding...actually will they be able to check if I tampered the IVs? Not like Pokesav just an AR code. Or used the EV Training modifier?

You can try it, although again, I wouldn't advise to do so.

| Hmm, I've never heard of anything being able to check for sav/AR-created Pokemon. | |

Lol trust me, there is. If the format follows the same as it did last year, you go through 3 rounds before you make it to the Final 16. Once in the final 16, they take your game cartridge and take it to some room, which is where they check it for hacked format and stuff. So if you don't think you're gonna make it that far, then go ahead and hack your team if you feel like it.
