mixed or special?

I've been magneton hunting recently. I went and found around 3 box fulls of magnemites and magnetons. And I found a few Hasty natured ones (because naive magneton is too timid to show itself xD). I chose the only hasty magneton out of the bunch. I checked its HP and Ivs... Man!

Absolute crap in both attacking Iv's and SPD and HP (like 1-5) but a very good (30 Ithink) in speed and an okay one in defense (20 if I remember). I was extremely lucky... It has HP fire! No steel types in UU resist it but the akwardly typed aggron and probopass. But the crappy part is it's only 49 power... Sad

So I was thinking this:

Which move should I use on it and what Ev's should it have?

Hasty Magneton@Salac Berry (If I use Sub)/I'm not sure (expert belt maybe?)
252 Sp. A / 252 Sp. / 6 HP (If I use salac)/what should I use if I use explosion?
-Thunder/bolt/discharge
-HP Fire/Flash Cannon (yes its movepool is that shallow)/Signal Beam/explosion/tri attack (again its movepool is that shallow)
-Subsitute
-HP Fire/Flash Cannon/Signal Beam/explosion/tri attack/thunder wave/recycle if I use salac

You should find another magneton to use as 49 base power just doesn't cut it.

Obviously you are going to want explosion in the last slot, because that is the whole reason you went with a hasty (naive was what you originally wanted =P) nature.

Well honestly I don't ever play NU so I can't help you too well. But the nature is just...well not optimal. If that's what you have to work with though I suggest going with a smogon set.

First, don't bother trying to use this set for Speed. Magneton just won't cut it unfortunately. Especially since there are a lot of fastre pokemon in NU.
