Please keep in mind, this is VGC battle. No stealth rock. Mostly brute offence and Raindance. 4-4 Double battle, 50 all. Please help me get my team to the best it can be. Also, some ubers can be put in. If you think a pokemon can be switched out for another pokemon because it plays a better role, I'm open to it. Also, please keep this a trick room team. I also want to counter rain dance teams. Now, for the team. By the way, it's revamped from a old team I made. It's changed alot, so it might as well be a whole nother team.

The Leads

This is the essential component to this team. Set up Trick Room, Explode or Reflect to protect Shuckle from dyeing. At all costs set up Trick Room. Without it this team dies a terrible failure. It is a possibility to just switch out, but thats a low possibility it an enemy can beat zong AND take an Explosion.

Without TR, I'm screwed. So when a Taunt or powerful move comes at Zong, I either FakeOut or FollowMe. If two attacks come at Zong, damage and Taunt, I FM. But if only one pokemons going to try to mess with Zong, I FakeOut. I then either use Protect or DarkVoid, depending on what I need to do with Bronzong. And then when my next poke comes out I FM to make sure I can get off any move I need.

This is the team’s most powerful sweeper. After using Trick Room with Bronzong the sweep begins. With Shuckle’s poor defenses after Power Trick the Focus Sash is essential protection again any priority move such as Bullet Punch, or Aqua Jet. Hopefully a Reflect will have been set up by Zong. Explosion is helpful for any Pokémon such as Scizor that might hurt Shuckle while it protects.

Everyone knows the CeleTran comob. They protect each others, and are hard to beat in Singles and Doubles. I found the perfect partner for Shuckle to do the same. If Smeargle goes down, then when Shuckle needs a partner, in comes Zapdos. HeatWave and T-Bolt prevent being completely being walled by Water and Steel types with levitate or 1/2 flying type. The importance of Detect and Protect is high, so Zapdos has Detect. (Protect is unoriginal!) Hidden Power Grass is just for coverage against Swampert type pokemon. Roost isn't a viable option with Shuckle and EQ. Zapdos is a very helpful part of the team, and I hope it works well. By the way, MachoBrace is used to lower speed, not raise attack.

Kyogre is a great special attacker. Since everyone else will use it, why don't I? It has an advantage in TrickRoom over all Kyogre. For Dragons like Mence and Dragonite, I have Ice Beam. Muddy Water is for when I run low on HP for Spout.

Does this need much of an explanation? Just deal damage, hit hard, and hurt as much Pokémon as possible. With Occa Berry, any fire attack will still have a hard time taking it down.

This team relies too much on Trick Room and Kyogre is to fast for this. Also, you need more Trick Room setter uppers.(?) Shuckle gets RUINED by SCIZOR, the #1 pokemon in the metagame (right now) not good.

Forgto to put changes. Kyogre and D-nite aren't on the team anymore. I have Slowbro, just for another TR'r. Snorlax took the place of Scizor, so yeah.

Ummm Kyohre with 0 speed IVs and -nature is slow enough for VGC, also guys, before giving advices, study the corresponding metagame. VGC has no sleep clause, Scizor is not common on them, the biggest threats are Dusknoir, Metagross and the like, Kyogres/Groudons/Palkias/Dialgas and Darkrais will be EVERYWHERE...you catch my drift, VGC is quite different from OU standar

I like your protection of scizor. With rain up from kyogre, halfing the power of fire moves, he can take a fire hit. Maybe another item could replace the occa berry and help him actually hit harder---like a choice band
