SSHG'S Hail Team

Abomasnow@Light Clay
Snow Warning
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Speed / 4 HP
Jolly (+Speed –SP Atk)
-Ice Shard
-Earthquake
-Light Screen
-Leech Seed
Abomasnow has 3 purposes in this team. To set up hail, set up light screen, and to leech the opponent. He also can attack. Ice shard is for proiority and Rock slide its the cover the weakness of fire.

Froslass@Life Orb
Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 SP Atk/ 252 Speed/ 4 HP
Modest (+SP Atk –Atk)
-Blizzard/Weather Ball
-Thunder Wave/Taunt/Confuse Ray
-Spikes
-Thunderbolt/Signal Beam
Froslass's role of this team is to set up spikes. Blizzard and Weather ball both benefit from hail so I am taking that into consideration.

Gengar@Choice Scarf
Levitate
EVs: 252 SP Atk/ 252 Speed/ 4 Def
Modest (+SP Atk -Atk)
-Trick
-Thunderbolt
-Energy Ball
-Shadow Ball
Gengar is used to trick pokemon into getting items such as leftovers. If Gengar gets leftovers then gengar won't get hail damage. If gengar gets life orb it will make it more powerful. Since life orb and leftovers are the most common lead items I don't have to worry much about other items.

Walrein@Leftovers
Ice Body
EVs: 252 Def/ 124 Atk/ 132 HP
Brave (+Atk –Speed)
-Ice Ball
-Toxic/Aqua Ring
-Defense Curl
-Substitute
Walrein along with Regice can stall the whole battle out with their amazing defensive stats/abilities. Walrein is apposed to stall and heal with the support of hail. Aqua ring can heal walrein even more or toxic can stall out the opponent. Defense curl and Ice ball is in this set because defense curl doubles the base power of Ice ball.

Regice@Leftovers
Clear Body
EVs: 252 SP Atk/ 252 SP Def/ 4 HP
Calm (+SP Def –Atk)
-Amnesia
-Flash Cannon
-Charge Beam
-Blizzard/Ice Beam
Well like I said the purpose of this thing is to stall. With excellent Special Defense it can be almost un-stoppable! This is also a Special Attacker. Charge beam can be really useful because it will boost the Special attack stat. Flash cannon might lower the special defense stat of the opponent too! Blizzard or ice beam will work. Ice beam is just in case there is another weather team.

Dragonite@Leftovers
Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Speed/ 4 SP Def
Jolly (+Speed –SP Atk)
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Fire Punch
-Heal Bell
Well Dragonite well you dragon dance and then outrage. After that it will use heal bell to recover from confusion. Fire punch is for coverage only. Pretty basic.

Machamp@Flame Orb
Guts
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Def/4 Speed
Jolly (+Speed-SP Atk)
-Power Trick
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Fire Punch/Ice Punch/Thunder Punch
This is a unique set because power trick will swap it's defense and attack stat making it a tank. When flame orb kicks in it will have a high attack stat. The regular focus punch and substitute is in this set. Any of the elemental punches would defeat a ghost type. Although flame orb limits survivability it will still be powerful as it is alive.

Weavile@Life Orb
Pressure
EVs: 252 Speed/252 Atk/4 Def
Jolly (+Speed – SP Atk)
-Swords Dance
-Ice Shard
-Low Kick
-Night Slash
Weavile is my revenge killer. With excellent speed it can do the job without any problems.

I'd much rather Rotom-F over Froslass just for the extra resistances it brings, and better STABs cuz 100% blizzard even without stab is pretty beastly.

in doubles there isnt much switching, so entry hazards arent very useful aginst good teams, especially considering all the bronzongs.

I can't help but feel Dragonite is out of place, I think a fighting type might work better to take care of rock and steel types.

I agree i think u should run a bronzong or a machamp maybe instead of d-nite, it'll work much better. If your opponenet chooses to run a tyranitar in doubles, you'll be completely murdered, and if t-tar is scarfed, then even more so. Covering ur weakness is more important than heal bell.

The machamp is unique to say the most... It is highly inferior to the standard set which is 248 HP / 252 Attack / 8 Speed (to outrun Blissey) with a moveset of D-Punch / Payback / Stone Edge / Substitute

I decided to replace it with gengar.

EDIT:So should I start making the team or should I wait for more ideas?

this team is still very weak to rock. The only pokemon on your entire team that has a super-effective move against rock-types is machamp, and you can't entrust one single pokemon as your check to the rest of the teams weakness, especially one with a mediocre set like the one you are using.

Um Please don't revive dead threads. I think SSHG would have fixed any problems by now.
