This Week, We here at the Pokemon of the Week (thats me) wanted to finally bring the pokemon that came with the hint "this pokemon is a 'hotty'". We ran into a small problem... Serebii took it... So in about an hours time, I decided to bring you guys a different pokemon, becuase we're better then Serebii! This pokemon comes from the 3rd generation, and holds a very special ability all of its own. Uuttitan Forum's Pokemon of the Week brings you: Zangoose!
The Physical Sweeper Set Jolly EVs: 252 Speed, 200 Attack, 58 Hp @Life Orb / Muscle Band Crush Claw / Return Brick Break / Close Combat Fire Punch Thunder Punch
Crush Claw: Its a good stab move that only Zangoose can learn naturally (others can learn it through egg moves). Not only is it a decent STAB move, but you also get the 50% chance of lowering your opponents Defense. Its the normal type equivilant to Rock Smash, only stronger.
Return: We should all know what this move does by now, lol. The more you love it, the more it loves you, and the more it makes the saying "Love Hurts" all the more truer.
Brick Break: This is where I'd ask people "Barrier? Light Screen? Where?!" Break it away and deal some damage at the same time. Plus you dont lose any defense stages with this move, though it is less powerful.
Close Combat: When you want to get in their face, and then punch their face. Close Combat its a great move with good power, if only it didn't lower your defenses, I would use it alot more.
Fire Punch: Its like a Falcon Punch, only a bit better. This will help clear away some Steel, Ice, and Grass type pokemon that may be in your way. Its always a good move to have on a sweeper just incase you need it.
Thunder Punch: Fry them birds and boil some water. Thunder Punch is there to clear out Flying and Water type pokemon. With these moves, you can get rid of quite alot of different pokemon that may stand in your way.
Choice Scarf Set: Adamant EVs: 252 Att, 200 Spd, 58 Hp @Choice Scarf (surprised, right?) Close Combat / Break Break Return / Crush Claw Ice Punch / Thunder Punch Night Slash / Fire Punch
Ice Punch: If you were to run into any Dragon types, this would be an easy way to get rid of them. You'd probably still be faster even after a Dragon Dance.
Night Slash: If you need to get rid of Psychic and Ghost type pokemon, go with Night Slash to clear the way for you. This way, your other pokemon may be safe from them.
Hint for next week: Noah's Ark
Also, to everyone who didn't see Heatran coming, It was becuase of the Movie, and Arceus has WAY to many possible combinations to fit in a 10 minute video. Plus, I wanted to see people's reactions to Heatran, it is hot after all, over 3000 degrees fahrenheit if I remember right.
